There would be no any reaction as it will go to the digestive system. It is far different from being transfused. There is a certain tribe in Africa (the Masai warriors?) who drinks cattle blood. I believe your main query is the reaction it would result. No any reaction at all (no hemolysis,no agglutination, in your circulatory system) as it will be considered as a kind of food then which will undego the metabolism processes, infection would only be the possibility if the source of blood got certain diseases or the blood has been contaminated. It won't replace any lost blood as how it would work in transfusion. I doubt someone would be interested in drinking blood whether yours or others' but it is very possible if someone has the ability to do such.

Yes it is possible but it will not bond with urs properly and will have negative effects. But if u were a real vampire u would be able to smell ur own blood type :0

Its possible! Cause unlike in the actual Blood tranfusion, its not directly go to you blood stream. Its still has long way to go, and its strip from its orignal contents!!! The RH - and +. So its like drinking alcohol, but its red and sticky!!! So if you prefer blood, well you one of a kind!!! :)

Sheesh, drink blood? Why would you do that? Perhaps before drinking your little mixture you might want to submit a sample to a lab to make sure that you will not get some kind of disease from it. What's this world coming to?!

I would think so, if you eat a steak there is blood in there, that is what the juice is. I would think it would be o.k. because it would stay in your digestive track and not enter the arterial system until after your body has broke it down into a use able nutrient.

Drinking blood won't cause any reactions since it won't get mixed with your blood to cause any reactions or coagulation. Your stomach acids will break it down, and your body will absorb it. But you may get sick to your stomach.
