This is hard to pick which one, but I've had several and have also been given a way to escape as promised. Also in 1 Peter 4:12-13, I'd like to add these passages
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

You are so correct my brother. Trials only come to make us stronger in God. God can do anything and for whatever He 'allows' to happen to us, there is a reason. It is so hard to single out any one thing that has been my biggest struggle. There was a time I was an abused wife(from my first husband) and now I am walking in watching my son(a boy that thru the help of God I raised alone with no help from his dad once we left) try to live a life that is totally contrary to way I raised him. God gave him to me and the hardest thing I have had to do was to give him back to God and ask God to save him. Because I love him so much, it hurts like no other to watch him be so destructive to himself at times. But my faith in in my Redeemer. I know He liveth and He will do it. I always 'try' to walk thru each trial with the integrity that is becoming of a child of God. But when it comes to your child, sometimes you have to get ugly. I tell God I know you are able(i.e. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) and even if you don't do it the way I want you to, I trust You. May God Bless U.

That would be my past life as a Satan worshiper, drug addict, alcohol abuser, and Persecutor of Christians. God still has me ministering in the same area that I grew up in, and some people will not let it go. A prophet is not honored in his hometown. I know how Jesus felt in Nazareth when the people would not listen because HE was the carpenters son.
Also some of the things that I cannot yet reveal.
You really should finish your last statement with- as long as we trust in Him.

The dogmatic paradigms I was horse-collared with in my formidable teenage years.. I was herded into church pewes and indoctrinated with the "scare tactics" and "talking points" that constitute the christian faith..
After twenty years of blind faith and not asking the tough questions about the relationship between the Tanakh (old testament) and "the new testament", I decided to concentrate on researching the origins of early christianity and the studied the textual criticisms of the writings of "the apostles".. Bart D. Ehrman has some very scathing books about these subjects and assisted me in my Apostasy of the christian faith..

14 years Depression (yikes)
I am very greatful for my experience and my pain. It has helped me grow and trust more in God. Without being raised in an alcoholic family, using drugs and alcohol...I would never be able to testify how God has changed my life.

The hardest thing to do is to believe in something that cannot be seen.
The easiest thing is to believe in what is right before your eyes......
isnt it easier to say, "just believe"........
Therein is faith...... In this world, it is hard to find... People need to see to believe......
Like an unborn child.... There are changes roundabout.... but who of them wants to believe who does not want to believe that they are with child.....
It is easy to say, "it is not so"... and it passes with unbelief because they see nothing... but time teaches its own lessons.... then it is too late to say, "it is true".......

Being in Christian Ministry and my family saying it wasn't a real job. I can relate to what my brother Stone said about a prophet not being welcome in his (or her) own hometown.

I carry none. Christ did and He puts burdens on no one. Our sinful nature does. Don't ever say man God sure is making it hard on me. Not what you deserve my friend.
