2 Corinthiains 12:2 Paul mentions seeing a "third heaven". In order to understand what Paul was speaking about, we have to consider the context, that is, the scriptures surounding that one.

In Verse 1 of that chapter, the apostle Paul is speaking about visions and revelations of the Lord. Thus it is in a vision that Paul sees the third heaven (the man that Paul mentions in verse two is evidently Paul himself). So what is the third heaven"

Heaven, where God lives, is never spoken of as having multiple levels. We shouldn't imagine heaven as if it were some apartment complex. So why in this instance does Paul refer to a third heaven? When something is repeated 3 times, it offers to serve as a type of epitome . For example the bible states "holy, holy, holy is God" because God is the very epitome of holiness and when speaking of the destruction of Jerusalem, God said "a ruin, a ruin, a ruin I shall make it" because Jerusalem was deserving of such a serious destruction. The third heaven (or paradise) is the epitome of peace and tranquility that is experienced by God's true servants even now. Servants of God do not have to die and go to heaven to experience such a peaceful, inner-paradise like state because God offers it even now. In fact, isn't it peace and tranquilty that makes a paradise what it is? It wouldn't be a paradise if there were violence and fear. So peace and tranquilty are they key factors to identifying a paradise.The Bible foretold in Isaiah 35:10:

They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Isaiah chapter 35 describes the spiritual paradise in a symbolic sense. So even now, though we live in a world full of hatred and strife, it is possible to have the peace of God. The apostle Paul's vision of a third heaven serves as a reminder of God's promise of peace now and in the future. -Psalm 37:9-11, 28, 29

There is only one heaven. You will find other terms for it like paradise, the 3rd heaven or 7th heaven but the Catholic Church teaches of only one heaven.

The Scriptural expression "heaven and earth" means all that exists, creation in its entirety. It also indicates the bond, deep within creation, that both unites heaven and earth and distinguishes the one from the other: "the earth" is the world of men, while "heaven" or "the heavens" can designate both the firmament and God's own "place"—"our Father in heaven" and consequently the "heaven" too which is eschatological glory. Finally, "heaven" refers to the saints and the "place" of the spiritual creatures, the angels, who surround God.186

I think your referring to 2 Corinthians 12:2... and I think Paul is referring to heaven as in the sky. Heaven is presence with God their is no matter or time or things that occupy it... it's not a big castle where you stay on different levels.

According to the Mormon or Latter Day Saints teachings there are. The highest level is the one where God, Jesus reign and where the more aesthetic Mormons are supposed to go, Tiers 2 and 3 are for the less devout and according to what I've heard from Elders neither Jesus nor God visit the third level.

The three levels, in context, could mean the atmosphere, outside the atmosphere (outer-space), and heaven.
