YES, INVISALIGN DOES WORK FOR SOME OVERBITES.
INVISALIGN IS ONLY THE NAME FOR A PARTICULAR TYPE OF ORTHODONTICS. THE REAL QUESTION IS SO WHAT IS THE COST.
THE PROBLEM WITH INVISALIGN IS THAT THERE IS A HIGH COST W/ OR W/O INSURANCE. THE COST JUST TO GET STARTED MUST BE PAID IN FULL, FOR THE LAB, AND THE AVERAGE COST TO GET STARTED IS FROM $1,25O TO $1,850.
THE ALTERNATIVE IS TO HAVE TRADITIONAL BRACES.
WITH THESE MONTHLY PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE THAT ARE MORE REASONABLE FOR MOST FOLKS.

They do work. I'm not sure about an overbite, you usually need rubber bands for that, which will only attach to stationary braces. The cost is definitely higher than normal braces.

I would go for the normal braces. Take it from someone who has them. They're much faster than Invisalign (at least with my doctor) and they're probably cheaper with your guy too.

Plus, you get used to normal braces really easily. It only takes about a day. It's a big commitment, getting braces, but the satisfaction after having a perfect smile is great. Also, you'll be wearing a retainer for most likely the rest of your life either way. So choose wisely. The retainers can be made to look like invisaligns, again depending on your doctor. But without a retainer, you teeth will often shift back to their original positions. I have to go back to my dentist when my retainers get too small and get them replaced. So that may add to your cost a bit if they're not covered (I have to pay about $200 for new ones every time (about every 1-2 years), no dental insurance).

If you're a kid or teen, you should wear the normal type of braces because my orthadontist told me that Invisalign is recomended more for adults because it is made of porcelien or something and is fragile and not for a child to handle.

yes they do and they are great because you can barely see them if at all. They work just like regular braces.
