I believe in God NO DOUBT... but I have kindof started looking at religious views differently lately... God thinks of all people as his "Children" right?... Unconditional love... right?

If you have kids then you know that no matter what he/she does you would never want to do anything to hurt themm..
Why would God send his own children to a place as morbid as Hell?.. I don't think he could.....

So, My question is... Do you think there is a Hell?.... I want you're opinion by the way.. not your rude comments...

We believe in Paradise and Hell. Paradise is the abode of enjoyment which God, the Exalted, prepared for the righteous. The blessing they enjoy there, no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and no human being has ever imagined: "No soul knows what comfort is kept hidden for them, as a reward for that which they used to do." (32:17) Hell is the abode of punishment which God has prepared for the unbelievers and the evildoers. The torture and horror in it cannot be imagined

without it, God would not be the Just and Wise and merciful God He is. God created men and made them responsible for their actions; some behaved well but others did not. If there is no future life in which the virtuous are rewarded and the vicious are punished, there would be no justice and the creation of men in that way and the sending of Prophets to them would be to no purpose at all. But this kind of behaviour is not expected of a man known to be rational and just, let alone the Perfect Creator.

Without belief in this Day on which everyone will receive his just deserts (when the wrongdoers are justly punished and the righteous are rewarded bountifully), man would lose the impetus to behave fairly towards others and the oppressed would grow hopeless and miserable.

Belief in the Hereafter is an essential element that helps to control human delinquency and establish collective happiness and virtues in society.

No, I do not believe in hell.
In the Bible, the word 'hell' refers to:
1) Sheol - an intermediary state where all souls await the resurrection
2) The Grave - the hole that you are buried in
3) Gehenna - the Valley of Hinnom outside of Jeruslem where people thre their trash (the city dump, if you will)

In the early Church, 'hell' was the uncreated glory of God that would one day purge humanity of sin and wickedness and initiate the Kingdom of God on earth. The Bible echoes this concept, and teaches that the righteous have already begun this purgation. The righteous are the First Fruits, according to Paul, and will be followed by all of creation at the second coming of Christ. This view was maintained by no less influential theologians as Origen and Gregory of Nyssa.

God doesn't send anyone to Hell. They send themselves. I think of Hell as being a dark void - nothingness. Dark is the absence of light. Evil is the absence of good. Hell is the absence of God. Now, no matter how evil a person's life was, I don't know if anyone is in Hell. I don't know that at some moment at the end of life, they are confronted with the All Loving and Merciful God and are truly sorry for offending Him.
We have to live by faith

Love to have you on board friend. Listen He dosen't . Thats right God takes no pleasure in burning His children. Hell is translated grave. A few times it is translated gehenna, which was a garbage dump outside of Jeruselum. Those souls that don't make it Face the second death. Which is the death of the soul. Cheack out the word blot in the hebrew or greek. It means erased from time immortal. Thats why there will be no tears in heaven for a loved 1 that didn't make it.

God has more that one son or daughter, human beings, and will not tolerate a few of them to misguide others. Therefore, he must lose some of his children so that he can keep the ones that are actually trying to do what he wants them to do. It is the same thing with some parents who have older and younger kids and the older kids are doing bad things and are starting to influence and give a bad example to the younger siblings. These parents love all their kids equally, most of them anyway, but would rather throw the older kids off the house no matter how much they may love them so that the yonger kids may not end up bad. Thanks and peace

If you believe in God;the logical conclusion is that you believe in a being which controls, sustains and fulfills all the requirement of what he has created. If the human life is to continue after death in this world, naturally those who could not perform well or use their faculties properly in this world would require a place where their faculties are revamped or enabled to survive properly in the next life. This place is hell but people will be suffering from repentace as they deliberately overlooked to make their god gifted faculties refined enough for the next phase of life.

We don't want our kids to go to hell, but when they become adults and make their own choices it doesn't matter what we want anymore. Can we control our kids after a certain age? God also lets us choose and can't decide for us. He loves us enough to let us be free to decide what we want to do and believe. That is unconditional love.
Not all people are His children, only those who believe that He is God the Father and have accepted Him through Jesus Christ. Jesus said, No one can come to the Father except by Me. The choice is not whether we want to go to hell or not, it's whether you want to become a child of God, and worship Him as your Father.

the Bible never speaks of hell as the movies and books portray it. its a place that is void of everything that God represents such as love and forgiveness, not some kind of sick demented torture chamber like in 'hellraiser' or south park

to be forgiven you have to ask for forgiveness. its a free gift for those who ask. those who dont ask are in rebellion of God's teachings. of course all (or at least most) parents want whats best for their kids, but when your kids are adults and they are still in constant rebellion, there is not a whole lot you can do. they make their own decisions and although it creates horrible pain in the parents lives, the parents know that their children have free will and there is nothing they can do about it but show them constant love and hope they eventually make the right decision, before its too late.

Hell is the lack of God's presence. God doesnt send us to hell. We choose to go there because we reject God. If we dont want anything to do with God, then hell would be the place that makes us happy.
