The margarine eater should convert, real butter isn't made up of so many chemicals. I heard somewhere that eating margarine was like the equivalent of melting plastic and spreading it on your toast, there's only one small difference between the chemical makeup of plastic and the makeup of margarine. And you know what? I was a margarine eater before that (it's cheaper), but have converted and it's only butter for me and my family now.

Try to stick it out. By the time you reach your 40's the butter eater will either be dead or their doctor will force them onto the margarine -I PROMISE!
By the way, if you "Can't Believe It's Not Butter" I would like to talk to you about a real estate deal on a great bridge.

If all you have to worry about in a relationship is which is better, the butter or the margarine, then you are in for a good marriage.
While there are ups and downs for both, who says you have to convert anyone? Keep both in your household. There's nothing wrong with it. We do.

To butter or not to butter? That is the question. Yet, would a spread by any other name still taste as sweet? I say true happiness lies in a land of Promise and a Land o' Lakes, both spreading golden joy for all.

Wow! My husband loves butter, and I like margarine. We just celebrated our 22nd Anniversary! He uses butter, and I use margarine for breads, and whoever cooks uses their choice. I do like butter on popcorn and a few other things, but can't stand it on pasta.
Good Luck!

A Marriage, among other things, need a lot of give and take, and the acceptance of differences that one another has.

My mother is a butterist, and my father an oleagarin. They have been married happily or otherwise for over 48 years. They've mellowed in their old age, but still stick to their original choices.
