A lot has to do with who the Saint is. Often, there would be a special prayer or event to recognize the saint.

Greetings!

We Celts Feast on Feast Days!................and, yes! A Special Prayer always makes one feel good!

Brigid likes Gaelic Prayers;

Cuir me fáilte nan Áirdean (I hail the directions)

Guma bithidh síth anns an Oithear (May there be Peace in the East.)

Guma bithidh síth anns an Deas (May there be Peace in the South.)

Guma bithidh síth anns an Siar (May there be Peace in the West.)

Guma bithidh síth anns an Thuaidh (May there be Peace in the North.)

Guma bithidh síth troimh an Talamh (May there be Peace throughout the whole world.)

Yours in the Light /!\

Light a candle; say a prayer of thanks; perform a kindness that you might not have on another day.
