Hmmm...I think you should have listened to what your girlfriend told you to do about a month ago and that was when you went to the dentist ask him about it..I think that you probably would have had a better diagnosis then what your getting on here...lol

I was having similar pain in my jaw back in September. I thought I'd hurt my neck. It turned out to be an infected tooth, and I needed a root canal-- which, by the way, is not a horrible experience like some people claim it is. When was the last time you went to your dentist? It might be time for a check-up.

This sounds like neuralgia. If your teeth are fine I am assuming you have been to the dentist. I would advice you go to the doctor and explain your symptoms. The doctor should be able to prescribe something for you to take short - term.
Sometimes the nerves cause pain for no good reason!! Good luck.

I am having trouble with that. I went to the dentist and he said I need to have my wisdom teeth removed. Have you ever had yours removed? Check out "impacted wisdom teeth" on a search engine. Hopefully that helps.

I believe that what you are experiencing is mandibular joint dysfunction. If you opened your mouth as wide as it will go do you hear cracking? I used to get those miserable pains myself. I read an article about it. For me it did go away although perdiodically I will get those stabbing pains but they last for only seconds.

HAVE A NEUROLOGIST RULE OUT A NUMBER OF POSSIBILITIES. MAY BE A FORM OF FIBROMYALGIA?
