I have recently updated my window to vista, when i plug my camera to the computer to upload the images, my computer can not find the camera. I am thinking maybe vista does not support canon drivers.

does anyone know anything about this?

There's still no link on the australian site, but here's the software update from Canon US (released only this week)

Go to http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=DownloadIndexAct
Choose "EOS (SLR) Camers Systems" in box 1
Choose "Digital EOS Cameras" in box 2
Choose "Digital Rebel Xti" in box 3

Press "Go"

Somewhere around here there's a link to download drivers - click that link.

You'll get a new window, where you can choose "ZoomBrowser Ex5.8b Updater for Windows"

Once that's finished, go back and get "EOS Utility 2.0 Updater for Windows". __THIS__ is the one you need so Vista can talk to your camera.

Then for good measuer, get "Canon RAW Codec 1.0 for Windows Vista" - this apparently allows RAW files to be previewed, etc, in windows explorer - about time, eh?

All the best.
