Try cocoa butter, concentrated. My legs and arms were so dry. Where we live we use a wood furnace and everyone knows wood heat is extremely dry. I use a liquid soap - Dove with added moisturizers in. After your bath in the evening, apply this and let it soak in good, I give you two days to notice the difference in your skin. I also use it on my face now. My skin is as soft as a baby's.doesn't have that leather look anymore.

You should avoid anything with mineral oil (like baby oil). Mineral oil gives the illusion that it's hydrating and softening the skin because of the slick feeling, but infact it creates a barrier that suffocates the skin below. Many lotions have mineral oil in them, but in the long run, it actually creates drier skin.

Well, of course there are tons of lotions to choose from. But one thing I know works for sure is, after you shower, while still wet, pour about a half dollar size amount of baby oil in hand and cover entire body with it. Spread evenly over entire body, then towel off as usual. It won't feel greasy because you are mixing it in with the water.

put a cup or two of dry oatmeal in your bathwater and soak in it. This will help soften and do wonders for your skin. Just be sure to put a strainer in the drain before pulling the plug. I use oatmeal shampoo for my dogs dry coat also. TRY IT OUT . If you get a chance check and see if you have any cracker barrel restaurants near you. they sell goats milk lotions that are UNREAL. they also have bee balm for your body and bee balm lipstick that is awesome. good luck.

Just try to wash with a mild soap that contains a moisturizer (Dove, Olay, and Jergens all do wonders). If all else fails, get yourself some bee's wax.
