Joesph smith stated " I have more to boast than ever any man. I am the only man that has been able to keep a whole church together since of days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me.
neither Paul, John, Peter nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from him; but the Latter-day Sainrs never away from me yet.

He scares me. I try not to trash any religion but they scare me. From what I have heard, they believe 1)Satan was the brother of Jesus 2) Jesus just had a better plan for salavation is why he is the savior. 3) Jesus had poligamist marrages. 4) God(the Father) was once a man who was such a good Morman that he earned the right to have his own planet(Earth).5)Any man who is a good enough Morman can become a God of his own planet and be just as high as the God of the Bible.6) That the fall in the Garden of Eden was "a good thing" so men can become gods.7) Until 1976 black men could not be priests because they believe black people are decendants of Satan.I may be wrong but this religion scares me to death.

The presumptions you base your question on are so specious that the question seems hardly valid . I don't believe Adam ever existed and Jesus was a lesser degree espousing the tenets of Buddhism which preceeded him by five hundred and fifty years as is documented . People often make the enormous mistake of idolizing the messenger rather than the message . when you eat do you taste the fork or the food ?
who was better is just the misguided ego; for the important part is the spiritual food or message imparted and that is almost indecipherable after the legend that follows takes over which is why one should use their own knowledge and discernment rather that sheepishly and naively trusting everything that is depicted as truth.(e.g.) just recently some-one knowledgeable in Aramaic and Hebrew pointed out that the passage of christ walking on water was originally written to say he walked near the water but was changed to on the water as it was translated into Greek . However these mistakes occur it is still reasonalbe to notice that these so called miracles only happened when no one was there to historically note other than by hearsay from over zealous apostles many years after the fact and that they have never re-occurred in anyone elses lifetime . Why would this be true . Did god become bored with miracles or were they false hoods for the purpose of influencing people to believe? Any way all men deserve be respected but not idolized . I believe Albert Eistein stated this relevance while he lived.

It does sound boastful, but consider John 14:12

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Jesus was well aware of his incomparable contribution to humanity through such things as the atonement and the resurrection, so perhaps he was referring to things like miracles (quantity) or the growth of the Church as Joseph seemed to be saying.

Just because a person is called as a prophet of God, doesn't mean he suddenly becomes perfect, so I can't ignore the possibility that he became carried away in his speech. I know I sometimes say things that come out different than I mean.

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone...

Who created the universe and keeps it together, that's right Jesus. How can Joesph Smith think he is better than the almighty God.

Everything is interpretted. The fact that someone would ask that kind of a question reminds me that MO is still the same mormon hateing state it was when my people were forced to leave over 150 years ago.
