You can't validate it on two computers, only one. The second copy won't activate and you will only be able to use it for 30 days unless you purchase a second license for it.

you need an somewhat vast HD for this concept of yours. i wish you have one. you're able to do what you're asking, yet you do not have sufficient RAM to run Vista effectively. you will pull your hair out in frustration waiting on pages to open in Vista with that small of an volume of RAM. Vista is a source monster and that's one reason it failed miserably as an OS. Lasty, Vista has been discontinued. while you are going to run twin working structures, then you definately might desire to purchase the latest (that's abode windows 7)

Microsoft Corp. Thursday released an update to Windows Vista that will shut down unauthorized versions of the OS that allow users to skip the product's activation system.
The move comes as pirated copies of Vista are already making the rounds, mere weeks after the product was released to business customers.
The update, which Microsoft has dubbed "frankenbuild," detects tampering of Windows Vista code that would allow users of the OS to work around the product's built-in activation system, which requires users to validate their copy of Vista with a product activation key to use the full version of the product after 30 days.

Well, I don't think Microsoft have already started hunting down illegal Vista users, so you could probably do this. But, they must have done something to make sure Vista can't be illegally used, after all the hazard that XP faced,
