Of course you can. You can eat belly-button lint and the ends of Q-tips too. It's not illegal nor physically impossible to eat any of that

I wouldn't suggest it, but yes.

Many people around the world eat butterflies as a source of protien. A problem with eating any type of creature is that you're not really sure what could be on or inside. If there is bacteria on the butterfly, you're probably in for a nice trip to the ER. If there is a parasite inside the butterfly that you eat (I doubt there are many parasites inside a butterfly), it might infect you and that's not good.

Yup,
in different cultures around the world. but in America the have butterflies that are caramelized then put into suckers if you would like =3

umm...havent heard of eating specifically butterflies. but some insects can be eaten, like grasshoppers or grubs. insects are generally a good source of protein.

(but i wouldnt eat one even if its edible...:D)
