This may sound like a totally odd-ball question, but considering some of the odd-ball people in my family, I just wanted to avoid a possibly embarassing situation. A relative of mine (who is 89 years old) is recovering from a surgery, and is in the hospital. The surgery was about two weeks ago. A surprise party for this person will be held in a 'special room' in the hospital tomorrow. Is there some remote chance that someone could hire a stripper for this party? Would it even be allowed? If so, I will be totally embarassed, since I'll be stuck there in that room from 1pm until about 3:30 pm. Serious responses only.

I live in the US

Please be serious and don't make fun of me. I have a big week with school and work this week, and I need to maintain my focus.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but I don't think any reputable hospitable is going to let a group of strippers in for a birthday party, especially for a man who is 89 years old. Think what it could do to his heart and the hearts of the people around him. The hospital is responsible for everyone there. It isn't a very classy thing and I doubt a hospital would say ok. This is real life, not "Scrubs".

I have never seen this. I doubt the hospital would allow it, but that's not to say the hospital would necessarily be asked.
However, most strippers acts last only 15-20 minutes, so maybe you could just slip away for that long.

you should get the stripper to dress as a nurse, he'd be totally confused and being 89, probably pitch tent right in his bed in front of you and not care!

you would probably need to clear something like that with whoever is in charge. seems like that kind of thing would be frowned upon in some hospitals.

i like your idea, good luck!
on second thought, its a bad idea and might no go over too well. what are you thinking? the environment might not be right.
even when you get a stripper in your hotel room its a little awkward. when you invite your family to this party are you going say "bring lots of singles."
just ask one of the nurses to do a little strip tease. they don't get paid well so offer her a couple of bucks and a soda. sick bastard.

If it is held in a private room, I would say since your relative is paying for his stay there, he can have whoever he wants at his party.
