you are fine. one day of eating 500 extra calories is not going to make ANY difference. and if you are hungry and want to eat more, than do it! just make sure you are exercising too. just remember EVERYTHING in moderation and you will loose weight and be healthy! try eating smaller portions of the foods you love but eat your food a little slower. in time you will see you dont need to cut out the foods you love and you dont need to eat huge portions to be full.

well, those extra calories, if not used by physical activity do, turn into stored energy which is fat
I am the same way, some days I eat little and other days I eat a ton even though I keep telling myself i need oto lose a little weight
I think the pressure on women of having great bodies is rediculously high
Its so hard to stop eating something that tastes so good!
by the way 3500 calories is equivalent to a pound
115 pounds isn't that high but then again it depends on what that weight is made up of. Fat weighs 3x's less than muscle so you can be big and still weigh less than a very muscular person
If you stay away from "trigger" foods it makes it easier to stop eating more because those trigger foods cause cravings
these "trigger" foods are typically high in sugar like a candy bar which makes you want more and more and more
suggar is addicting. I went on a sugar strike for 2 weeks because I thougt it was rediculous of how many things are loaded with sugar. I didn't even have honey. I didnt have any piza because they put sugar in the dough to help activate the yeast. It was really hard and I was going crazy for the first 3 days but after that I didn't even care about sugar. for the remaining 11 days I didn't crave it anymore. It was awesome and I was so proud of myself since nobody thought I would last!
just remember, when you lose, you win!
good luck

First of all, check your calorie information. Look at the margarine or butter package and it will give a 3500 to 4000 calorie count for 1 pound. Yes, a little bit over your daily count won't hurt if you don't do it everyday. Sometimes you will eat extra when your body needs a certain vitamin or mineral. How tall are you? You need one hundred pounds for five feet tall, and five pounds an inch for anything over that. As you are still growing, be sure and drink nonfat milk to keep bone and teeth in proper condition. No point in being thin if you can't stand straight and your teeth are rotting. Stay away from the sugars, salts and wrong fats. Nuts and olive oil are good for skin and brain development. Best wishes

First of all 900 calories is starving yourself. And since you've been eating so little, your metabolism has slowed down. Your body will store the extra calories as fat, but I mean...you probably only consumed 600 calories over what your body metabolizes. It take 3,500 calories to put on a pound. You'll be fine.
But a 13 year old should NOT be worried about their weight! You're only a kid for a short time. Your metabolism will only be this fast for a little longer. Enjoy it!

Hm..900-1400 calories seems like a little bit. Well anyway just don't eat too much tomorrow. Don't think about food if you need to lose weight. Distract yourself. That might work.
Also, 115 pounds seems light. Actually it depends on your height. I'm 12, 5'4, and I weigh more than that (I'm kinda fat). So if you're taller than me, you're pretty thin or normal.

Oh, oh, I know someone who is going to put on a few more pounds.
Try and find out what the normal weight is for a person your height and stick to the number of calories (or less) that is required for that weight.
Good luck....it won't be easy!!

You don't need to be losing weight to begin with....second...one day isn't going to make much of a difference....binges happen when you starve yourself---which is exactly what 900 calories is.

well it depends how tall you are and how active you try to be if you just sit and play video games then yes that is too much but if you play sports and run then its good to eat that much,
please talk to your doctor before going on a diet as you are kinda young to be worrying about losing allot of weight good luck with your health

Your body begins to store the excess. In other words, you begin to put on fat.
