You're probably not eating enough. You need to start with eating enough protein for your body weight (weight x .6 = grams of protein per day) then add vegetables, fruit, carbs, etc.

Eating 5 times a day in smaller portions is a better idea. You might be getting headaches because your aren't eating enough however it may also be that your body is not handling the food you are eating in one big portion. By eating smaller meals so your metabolism speeds up.

What is your typical diet? Refined carbohydrates and sugars will surely give you headaches, especially about an hour after you eat. Try eating lean proteins, healthy fats, and low glycemic carbohydreates. If you feel your meals are too small, try eating some walnuts or almonds for a snack. Walnuts are like brain food. They have natural anti-Inflammatories in them. As do dark cherries.

3 to 5 small sensible meals a day, adding up to about 2,000 calories. You also need about 3 to 4 liters (¾ to 1 gallon) of water a day. Your headache might be from your monitor. Low refresh rates can give headaches after prolonged computer use. I know because my current monitor has a max refresh rate of 60Hz, and I get headaches everyday after few hours use. Generally, a 75Hz to 85Hz refresh rate is the best for your eyes and your head.

Edit: If your athletic, or exercise more than an hour per day, you should eat 4 to 6 meals which should add up to 2,500 to 4,500 calories and drink 4 to 8 liters (1 to 2 gallons) of water, depending on exercise amount and intensity.

Hello:

Ideally, you should be eating SIX small meals a day! This includes breakfast,a morning snack, lunch,an afternoon snack, dinner, and then an evening snack. Of course your meals need to be healthy with fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, protein such as chicken,turkey,etc... For my snacks, I will eat a piece of fresh fruit or cheese and crackers,it just depends what is a healthy choice and of course I watch my portions too,THAT IS THE KEY!! ;-)

It sounds to me like you are getting headaches because you are not eating often enough, and that is causing your blood sugar to drop, thus causing you to have headaches! You should be eating every two to three hours because that helps to regulate your blood sugar so you don't get headaches, and believe it or not,you will end up losing more weight than someone who only eats three meals a day!! People who eat SIX SMALL MEALS A DAY,have a higher metabolism, because their blood sugar is not dropping drastically from not eating for long periods of time!! I hope that this has been helpful and remember,SIX SMALL MEALS A DAY,is better than just three meals a day!! ;-)

Our vet has continuously advised us that it's not unavoidably what number situations they are fed, that is how lots they are fed. That being stated, they do would desire to consume greater suitable than one meal an afternoon nevertheless. We feed our canines (12 years and four years) two times an afternoon, and our 12 week previous domestic dog thrice an afternoon. We plan to feed our domestic dog thrice an afternoon till he's complete grown, then change to easily 2 feedings an afternoon, as we did with our older canines.
