my husband and i are ttc and today i notice a pain in my right side....sometimes it is dull and then sometimes it is sharp. my last period was march 13th and don't really know when i ovulate....last time we had unprotected sex was last night.....has anyone had this pain or know what it might be.

There are many possible causes that could result to pain on the right side- could be something is wrong with the kidney, reproductive organs or any other organs. Could be some muscular pain from previous activities. Your ovulation was supposed to occur around more or less 5 days back if you are having regular cycle. Having unprotected sex last night will also have some possibilities of getting pregnant if the has been delay of the ovulation period, you will not know. However, there will be no significant relationship between the pain and the unprotected sex as of now even if there is a possible pregnancy. Some muscles strain could be one of its consequences. Urinary tract infection could also be suggested. Just observe how the pain is and if remain persistent, see a doctor and do some investigations.

could be an ovarian cyst..very common ..if the pain becomes bothersome or you experience bleeding seek medical attention immediately..
