While the Father and the Spirit bit may be true...The son...didn't appear until the New testament...when jesus was born...The verse you are refering to is in the first book of the old testament..."Us" could have refered to the father, the "word," and the holy spirit...you can also take it out of the religious context. where people in an exalted position of an institute would use "Majestic Plural" for example when the "queen says," We forbid you access to "our" presence. she is refering to the Institute, which is the crown and herself

Another quirk since there is a mention of other gods in the bible, remember Moses and his brother's magic trick with the staffs turning into snakes that ate the Egyptian god's snakes. Thier god is stronger than ours? For those who throw in the trinity, it does not exist in the old testament, and a Jew would disagree with that analysis as well. Also who was around to take dictation when this was taking place when nobody was around yet. Maybe an angelic court reporter........
for those who argue it refers to the trinity does that mean Jesus-the son, the father, and the holy spirit all look alike for man to be in their image? That makes no sense at all.

Collosians 1,"God created all things through Jesus(He was always God the son even before he came to earth)
John 1"In the begining was the Word(Jesus) and the Word was with God and the Word was God.Jesus is God the 2nd person of the trinity along with God the Holy Spirit.
Let us(Father ,Son, and Holy Spirit)make man in OUR image.
The word in hebrew used for God is Eloihem(actually means Gods) as opposed to El or Eloi which is singular for God.
God is 1x1x1=1 God not 1+1+1= 3 Gods.
3 whats 1 who.

God is three persons in one-the Father,the Son and the Holy Spirit.
When God finished creating the earth,he then chose to make man like himself.The phrase "let us make man in our image" does not mean that God created us exactly like himself,especially in a phisical sense.Instead,we are refelctions of God's glory.We will never be totally like God, because he is our supreme Creator.Our best hope is to reflect his character in our love,patience,forgiveness,kindness and faithfulness.

God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit
John 1 says In the Beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus was present in spirit before He took on physical form.

Before the universe was created, God created his Son.
He authorized his Son to head the creation of every thing & every one else. He did this by use of God's holy spirit, which is God's energy, rather than a person.
There is one ALLmighty God:
"You alone, Jehovah, are the God above ALLother gods in SUPREME charge of all the earth." (Psalms 83:18);
one Son / Mighty God, (who worships ALLmighty God);
and God's energy / holy spirit.
That equals two persons, not three.
When God said 'us', He was speaking to his Son.
He'd made his Son to be Mighty God (tho not Almighty), so it makes sense for Him to invite His Son in the making of mankind, in OUR image, after OUR likeness.

This is one of the earliest appearances of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
If you look at how man was created, it was with three parts. God formed a 1)body from the elements of the earth, breathed into it his own 2)spirit and man became a living 3)soul.
Man has three parts that each function in a different realm. The body touches the physical realm. The soul (made up of the mind, will and emotions) works in the mental realm. The spirit communicates in the spiritual (heavenly) realm and talks with God himself. Each is just as much "you" as any of the others. They just live in different worlds, with different functions.
God also lives in all three realms. As God the Father he lives in the heavenly/spiritual realm. As God the Son (Jesus) he appeared in the physical realm. As God the Holy Spirit he dwells in the realm of men's hearts. Each is just as much "God" as the others. Three different manifestations, in the three realms of existence, but one "God".
So God, who is a trinity, was speaking to himself as he made man in his own image, a three-fold being who shares all three realms of existence with God.
As for when Jesus came into existence, read Philippians 2:5-11. It states there that Jesus was alive, and living as an equal with God before he took on the form of a man. He has always existence. Same with the Holy Spirit. Which came first? Which came first for man, his body, spirit or soul? Answer: they all came into existence at the same time.

God is a triune being, he is made up of three parts, Father, son, and holy spirit. An easy way to think of this is an egg, you have a shell, the white of the egg and the yellow: Shell being the father, white the son, and the yellow being the holy spirit. Each have individual parts and together they make up one. The same goes with the verse you refer to. God the father, son and holy spirit worked together to create the world as we know it.

Your added details weren't correct. The father, son, and holy spirit always existed. Jesus was with God from the beginning.

The final verse in the e book of Matthew: "And behold, i'm with you quite often, till the tip of the international." continuously. Psalms is a large source for reassurance. i could no longer handle with out it. attempt Psalm 40 six:a million: God is our shelter and our capability, an ever-latest help in hassle. i'm no longer good at remembering citations, yet there is likewise "greater suitable is he who's in you than he who's in the international." which means whether devil or human beings throw each little thing in the container at you, Jesus remains greater suitable and he will shelter us. I comprehend your fears, i'm somewhat aggravating myself. yet I continuously locate that when I get entangled the terror is going. that is questioning approximately it formerly that does us in! do no longer i comprehend it! yet being courageous would not propose no longer being afraid, it means doing issues besides, regardless of what you sense. every person has fears, some persons purely show them. you're smart to invite for the help and assist you like. some human beings do no longer, ever. and that they finally end up having a coronary heart attack or a nervous breakdown or an ingesting illness or something, through fact they are greater afraid to look susceptible to others than to invite for help. properly carried out you.
