Yes three cheers from me as well
We all need to keep our minds open and
Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.
Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true
You can be a spiritual being without a religion, and taking all your faith and putting it into yourself : )
Love & Blessings

Christians (as evident on yahoo q&a) should spend less time condeming other belief systems, judging the beliefs of others, and trying to talk others into their belief; and more time being an example of their religion they claim alliance to.
Personally I think Belief Systems are detremental and hinder
mind expansion by boxing thinking into singelmindness. This includes even Atheists without open mindness to contemplate all aspects and possibilities within our universe.
One advantage of simply being Spiritual is being able to express the new perceptions of awareness found through enlightenment.

Three cheers for atheists, three cheers for christians, three cheer for Y! answers! and three cheers for football, twister, sumo wrestling, and water boxing. Can anyone suggest any good atheist T-shirts to wear to church, or good atheist conventions to go to as a christian?

7.It was the catholic church that first came up with the idea of the seperation of church and state.(ironic ain't it)

How does Atheism help our technological progression?
"There is no God, hence we should advance in technology"
Doesn't seem like A = B to me. They are irrelevant of each other.

The only thing I definitely appreciate is that the athiests have made my faith in God stronger. They question, I research the Bible more. When I have children, they will be brought up in the Christian faith and hopefully accept it themselves. I do not believe in anyway that the absence of religion would be beneficial in life. So, the only cheer you'll get from me is the one thanking you for making my faith stronger!

I'm excited for the fact that I find myself reading and meditating on Gods' truth even more. No mater what you do God will always prevail, have the VICTORY. Everything has only increased and strengthened my faith and joy knowing I am in the truth. What saddens my heart is the fact that you are not happy in yourselves, or you wouldn't be trying so hard to torment and criticize Christians.

Don't sprain your arm patting yourself on the back!
I know many (family) scientists who are Christians and made huge advances and contributions to the world.
I think we ALL owe it to each other to make the best of our natural gifts while we are here to make this world a better place, Atheist, Christian or other.
