I have time warnr cable in new york and can't find the code for an HP Plasma TV to program my cable remote with.

Cable co says call HP. HP says try philips codes, nothing works.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Due to memory limitations in a remote, manufacturers put the most popular models only. Unfortunately HP Tvs are not there yet.

If you have a 2006 HP TV model or later (LCD or Plasma) you can use the Philips codes for basic operation (on/off, volume, etc.). Philips has multiple codes, so try all of them.

If you have a rear-projection or earlier model, then there is not much you can do except buy a learning remote and teach it the TV codes or buy a Harmony universal remote (Harmony has the TV codes)
