you must understand, many children frequent this site unchapparoned. also, many children, in adult bodies are here.
the amount of mindless drivel they dole out is faith strengthening to those who remember that in the time of the end, the Bible writer told us that the ridiculers would come with their ridicule, saying 'where is this promised presence of his, why from the time of our forefathers things have remained the same to today'.
So the fact that all the haters and unbelievers are here proves the prophecy truthful. Do not get discouraged, rather, take heart knowing that God, has told us in advance that it would be like this, and so it is.

It's probably the same reason you (or others) continually approach me (or others) with "testimony" and "blessings" and "prayers" and "pity" and "condescension". Do you (they) do it out of hate? It's done across the board, not just in this section. It's not as if you keep it here. Should everyone making religious comments or advising people outside of this section be told that they are (obviously) in the wrong place?
Why do so many baited "headline" questions ask Atheists to answer? When you know that not everyone shares your perspective - and you belittle them for their lack of faith (or condemn them to the pits of hell, or wish they'd burn), when so many are keen to actually type - out loud - they wish we'd all die - what is that?
It isn't love. It isn't respect. It isn't tolerance.
Is it difficult to understand that some people simply don't believe and aren't going to believe - and don't want it shoved down their throats at every turn, every day, and every way - in schools, business and government?
The believers think if someone questions or disagrees - they're wrong and immoral. This is incorrect. I suppose you'll have people doing the same to you (others) until it ceases on all fronts.
No one wants their lives dictated by the beliefs of another. Not me, not you. not (them or others). If religion were to be maintained in the private sector, in the hearts and homes of the believers - there would be little difficulty. But it isn't.
That's why you see people doing what they do. You can't ask for respect when you don't give it in return.
(I clicked on a question in the box that says "open questions" at the bottom of the last question I answered - I didn't wander into this section "looking". They scroll through just like all the others.. don't be so paranoid.)

I am a Christian and I have had to deal with the "paradox" of faith for a good part of my christian life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I am an educated man with a degree in engineering an MBA. I had a difficult time making sense out of faith until I came to a point in my life when I realized I had no control over major life situations. In studying scripture, I learned that man's ways are not God's ways and that the human mind cannot fathom the riches of God's love.

" It's not like some of us would jump out of a plane to honor jesus, gods, or whoever. "
Can you say Jim Jones, David Koresh, 9-11
Not believing and publicly saying you don't believe does not constitute hate in any way. It is just disagreement. Just because your religion doesn't allow questioning, does not mean that others can't do it.
And faith is little more than wish full thinking. It is believing what you want to be true, not what the evidence say is. And that is really our point.
Most of us are here because the way the politics are we have no choice but to publicly defend ourselves.

I was a new ager for a long time and I learned a lot of things. I would not trade it for the whole world. There is however one draw back. It does not reflect reality at all. There is no foundation. I was all into Native American stuff when I came face to face with the American Indian Movement. I was smart enough to sit down, shut up and listen to why they were so offended at my harmless "playing injun" When my friends found out I was talking to AIM they scattered like roaches. Reality and new age can not co exist. Great concept though.

India is a hindu u . s . with the right of state, the president a muslim. the position in the international have you ever seen this and at the same time as? Who cares what nuclear software he advanced? It became because muslims are consistently attacking india that india has to make investments in weaponry. Get it immediately. India being a hindu u . s . does no longer have self assurance in violence. No killing until eventually to guard. This money in nuclear capacity would were used to advance the lives of a few poor little ones. yet no we ought to guard our selves from muslims in our own u . s .. Taj Mahal by technique of a muslim? DO you imagine he equipped it? No hindus equipped it and he watched. and then he shrink their fingers off so no different Taj Mahal will be equipped. Who the hell cares about the Taj even if it really is used as an excuse of contribution by technique of muslims. it really is only a mausoleum which islam does no longer enable. I toughen the fact on your questions. Muslims have contributed no longer some thing. they have stolen all the gold and the gemstones and valuables, ruled india and taxed indians to take to center east ( you spot that they had no longer discovered vehicles or oil yet ) and captured females and toddlers as slaves. The muslims then slowly began stealing land. Afghanistan, Pakistan and bangladesh Muslims killed thousands and thousands of folk. Who the hell cares about Abdul Kalam, who's an ignorant guy and must have in no way grow to be president if he became wise, and the Taj Mahal? The muslims take our land, stay off our tax money and characteristic toddlers like rabbits. They coach hindus to devour meat and characteristic slaughter residences in our holy cities. lack of comprehend-how is bliss. provide me some thing more advantageous perfect.

Actually this site is for all beliefs, but you are right some should just not answer, but then they wouldn't get two points. Plus some just want to blow steam. I hope no Wiccans are harassing you because we mostly believe you have the right to worship whom you will. Course I'm just a solitary but I would hope I'm right in my beliefs.

People should be free to believe whatever they choose--however when they struggle to impose those beliefs onto society as a whole--eg--banning stem-cell research--then they deserve to be resisted--we can't keep on living in the past forever.

I don't really put people down unless they asked for a reality check. I'm not here specifically to give people the finger, I'm here to share knowledge and help to educate people. I'm also here to widen peoples' horizons. Granted, it gets violent sometimes with your trolls and stuff... Other than that, though, it's an honest place for me.

How many in your ancestry have been murdered because of the religion and disciplines they followed. As in, herbalist, potion maker, dowser, bone setter, healer, diviner, midwife, cabalist, etc.
