alright well.. ive been dating this girl, and it's a bit weird.. in person she shows little affection, however on msn/text she shows so much more affection. ex. you hot, sexy, i want you, etc.. and after a while she kept saying i love you.. not like at the end of the conversation, but after something i'd do, like a favor. she'd answer.. "i love you!"(she's only said this on msn).. does that really mean she loves me? it's been only a few months that we've been together and it hasn't been a very fast relationship.. it's been relatively slow.. To my face she's never said those words and i'm not exactly sure i "love her". i just want to know what you think :)

Sounds like she may be a little shy in person and then is more comfortable on the IM. Try and get her by herself and just ask her what is up with the 2 of you. Do it in a sincere way and not in a confrontational way and I am sure that she will give you the thumbs up or at least a heads up on what she thinks and wants. Just don't fall into the I love you trap without knowing what she means when she says that she loves you. That way you will know where you stand and not get your feelings hurt later if she was only wanting a friend. Later...

No offense, this doesn't look great. My brother had the same problem with his relationship. It doesn't look that great.
I don't like PUBLIC SHOWS OF AFFECTION. But I would tell him to him everytime we were alone. And I'd always want to be with him. But I would never just do it only on IMs. Sometimes face to face is the true value

Well, in my opinion as a woman, if she can't tell you that she loves you in person, she REALLY doesn't love you. She tells you online that she does(in quote" when she wants something"), it's only to get you to do things. If she really loves you, she should be able to tell you in person; maybe not all the time, but at least once. Like you said, the relationship is not fast, so don't expect things to like happen all at once(your feelings of "i love you/her"). If it wasn't love at first sight, then she doesn't love you just yet. -nuff said.

she's probably too self conscious to say it to your face. She says it a lot on your msn/text to compensate. She most likely does mean it, if she's the shy type/ Or she only feels it when your not around.

people can so easily mistake what it means to say "i love you" she may have been in a tender moment with you and said it like "oh so and so I love you" if she wanted to say she loved you in that way she will approach you and it won't be through a text or msn you will know when she means it

Its just her way of showing affection for you. She doesn't mean it in the "lets get married and be together forever". Dont over stress or over think your situation.

Dont take it that seriosly she probably does love you , but like puppy love or like she cares about you, or you are just the best boy friend ever to her and everything you do for her is really special.

But she probably means i care about you and i love what you do for me and the way you treat not love yet but it could be close

maybe shes scared to say i love u to ure face....some relationships r meant to go slow....u also have to think bout the fact that uve only been datin a few months give it a few more months and see how things go!!!

I would say that one of 2 things is goin on.. eather she is really immature and thinks that just cuz y our in a relationship u have to say I love you or she really loves you but is afraid to, say it in person.
