I love the simple things in life and today I got to go swimming and I fetl so alive, free, joyful, exuberant and content. I felt so cleansed and Happy in God and I wish I could feel this happy and alive 24/7/365. The times I feel the most joyful is when I am writing, praying, socializing, on the computer ministering and researching, reading my Bible and I am learning to be a human being not just a human "doing". What makes you feel joyful and happy and close to God? Peace be with you and God bless all of you in advance for your answers.

Psalm 91:
God bless You and may Jesus reign blessings in your life*
I feel most "happy" when i feel my Lords spirit rising up in me - that when i know I 've got a power living in me (holy Ghost) I am just a mess of a human being but when Jesus shines himself through me WOW !!!
I give all the Glory to God
We go through valleys so that the mountains will be high -
if we never went through tough times -
(God teaching us to grow)
then we would'nt be able to get closer to the Lord.

As of recently when I discovered apologetics. Finally seeing the logic and reason for Gods existence made me freakin' joyous. I always believed there was a God. But I didn't know exactly why. I didn't know how to explain it logically. A simple "just because" wasn't good enough. But after reading Zacharias, Kreeft, Pascal, St. Thomas of Aquinas and most of all C.S Lewis, my catholic faith has been renewed with a vigor I haven't never experienced. And that makes me ecstatic!!!!!!

Thank-you for such a very good question.
I feel happy or joyful most when I see people, when I'm with people, or even myself who who put their 110% in doing selfless acts of kindness to someone who they have never met, or don't even know them. I consider myself a people watcher. nothing gives me more strength to see the Lord's work being done, and they don't even relize how much joy they might have brought to that other person.

Being a child of God makes me happy, joyful, and peaceful.
Knowing I can fellowship with our Father and Jesus everyday.
Just knowing He's aware of me.
Sometimes it's not about me knowing He exist, but He knows that I exist.
How awesome is that?
The God of the Universe knows me.

God doesn't exist. However, there are many things in life that make me feel joyful and happy, far too many to list here. Just the experience of life, itself, makes me happy and content. Also, family, friends, especially my girlfriend, make me very happy. I also love looking into the nature of things and finding out about the world around me. That satisfies me much more than any shallow religious superstition could.
It's too bad that you have to attribute any emotional feeling to some made-up deity.
