Becoming a Christian was a personal choice between God and I. I realized I was lost and I was missing something. I realized I needed Him. I actually, didnt go to my parents, who did raise me in church, but to a friend.

If you still have questions, that I could answer, email me....

My parents didn't make me a Christian. I was raised with them taking me to church and Sunday school. However, you become a Christian on your own, by your own acceptance of God. No one can force you into anything. I decided to accept God and asked Him to forgive my sins. I have a totally separate relationship with Him than my parents. Each one of my parents have a separate relationship with Him as well. It's an individual belief. We had 3 kids in my family. We didn't all turn out the same, it's not something parents can turn their kids into. They have to decide for themselves and then where they will go from there.

I really need to correct you on something! NO ONE can become a Christian through their parents!! The ONLY way as stated clearly in the Bible is Romans 10:9-10 "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved." --That is the ONLY way to become a Christian, people that think they will go to heaven because their parents were Christians are sorely mistaken, that is completely unbiblical.

Jesus said,"No one come unto the father but by me."

Spiritually I read a tract written by Josh McDowell when I was 17 and God changed my heart...

Religiously? I was born into a Methodist family but I strayed from that sect 5 or 6 years after I was saved, because it seemed to be heading away from God's word in it's leadership

I was born to a Christians family. I was baptized and then confirmed at age 15.

My parents were not religious and it was not a regular habit for us to go to the church. I read the Bible but I had no one to explain things to me. : )

I walked away from my childhood faith. Luckily God did not give up on me. My child started to ask about the church and she wanted to attend. I took her, but I thought when I take her once, she would never want to come back.

God had a different plan for us. We have been attending that non-denominational Christians church since then, many years ago. We also got baptized again. I just love to worship my Lord. I also study His word regularly. : )

No one becomes a Christian by their parents. Becoming a Christian is completely personal between you and God, no one can do it for you. Email me if you truly want to know how

My best friend is a Christian. Last June she invited me to go on a camping trip that her church's youth group was putting on. There I met a Christian guy that I instantly fell in love with. I wanted to be around him more so I started going to their church. By November I was saved. Now I don't go to church just for him, I go for Him.

I became a Christian in 1956. I learned of God by myself by attending church. My parents did not attend with me. I preached my first sermon in 1967 and ministered in my first church in 1977. I have since ministered in 5 churches and been a missionary.
