I'm going to go see my online friend on July 9th and I want to lose 40 pounds before I do. How can I do that? Is it possible?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

That's too much weight 2 loose that fast, it will shock your body!! Set a healthier goal :)
a good balance of cardiovascular exercise (walking, jogging, sports, etc) and weight training will help as long as you are really working hard. Taking a leisurly walk won't help...get your heart pumping.
Cardio burns fat and calories and weight training builds lean muscle which will burn fat and make you look good:)
Aim for exercise 5 days per week for about an hour or more.
Also watch your diet...eat lots of fruits, veggies, and protein and eat complex carbs. Count your calories!

You will have success by doing a detox. My friend (male) lost 60lbs in less than 3 months. He was very diligent and it worked great for him. He used Isagenix (I do too)
It is a bit of $$$ but well worth it. Plus, you are spending less on groceries and meals out during the cleanse.

ok, heres what you do: first of all, DONT STOP EATING! ITS UNHEALTHY! second, go to the gym once a day for at least 3 hours. and dont go eating chips and ice cream after every work-out. if you do, get something healthy like sunchips or frozen yogurt.

Only if you stop eating all together. But how healty is that????? Just stop eating the bad stuff and drink lots of water TONS OF IT!!!!!
