I've been exercising a lot and only eating 1200 calories per day; yesterday and today I didn't watch my calories and ate like CRAP. If I go right back into the 1200 calories of only healthy foods starting tomorrow (plus the exercise), will I not gain weight? Or will I still gain weight?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

You can eat daily 1200-1500 calories a day and not gain weight if you're fairly active.
Remember that 3500 calories=1 lb. Did you take in this many calories? If you did, then you gained a pound. The important thing is to get back on it the next day! If you do this it will be alright. I always have my clients pick one day a week when they can treat themselves, as long as they stop it the next day. One has to have some fun don't we? You'll be fine, especially since you're exercising too! Good for you!

hard to say what your body will do. if it was really healthy - no effect, unhealthy foods- you were probably just tired afterwards- your body trying to digest garbage, OR you haven't been on the new diet long enough for your body to get used to it. - no effect.
I saw your ? about your joints- cracking and popping is not good, that's a solid sign of deterioration. If this is suddenly a result of worjking out, slow it dowen and take it easy/ ease into your new workout regiment. I practice Chinese acupuncture and herbalism. The glucosamine won't help, that is generally for very old, arthritic people. I suggest going to a CHINESE acupuncture Doctor- no other style- they can be dangerous ! There are treatments to greatly strengthen you ligaments, tendons and joints. If they are an herbal Doctor too, get some supplements from them.

Yes! Get right back on and the weight can still stay off. I am dieting also and found that I'm only human! and have slipped off more than once (dieting since Jan 1) but keep getting right back to the diet and exercise and the weight still stays off.
