Without a doubt. People just don't get as excited or defensive about turtles, comic books, TV shows, or any of the other topics on Y/A. And to the casual posters on the other categories, I'm sure we all look like a bunch of nuts, no matter what our beliefs (or non-beliefs).

Yes. In not other section does ignorance have so much to say. Although I do agree with 'chancelikely', and think that LGBT is a close second.

Yes, I think R&S takes the cake. It's kind of embarrassing, when you see on the front page "The Best of Answers" what respectable questions and answers are featured.
