The general perception and understanding of majority of westerners do associate terrorism with Islam. Western media is full of Islamic Terrorists doing this, planning that.
Why is it when Timothy McVeigh kills hes not a Christian Terrorist? Why arnt members of the Ku Klux Klan called White Christian terrorists?
Why arnt there any Jewish? Atheist? Hindu? Parsi Terrorists?
Dont they kill the same way too? Is is to hard for the ppl in the west to comprehend it coulda been the work of a sicko? Most so called "Islamic" Terrorists are social rejects, have beens. Killers. druggies, rapists. What line is it that they cross from being an ordinary criminal to being associated with a muslim name and being called an Islamic Terrorist. Why associate a entire religion with some demented and sick person. Ppl whose 99.9% population consists of peaceful loving citizens.

Your consideration on who was called what holds no true value to the fact. Every criminal act any muslim does is associated with Islamic Terrorists. Kilroy by your numbers America would be the Number 1 terrorist in the world killing and causing death to hundreds of thousands with there actions in Iraq for example. Where hundreds die average per day. Where as so called few killed 3-4 odd thousand in NYC. Whos the terrorist?

Terrorism is only related to religion when it is done in the name of religion. But even then, the religion itself is not to blame unless the majority of its members support the action.
By any reasonable math, Islamic fundamentalist terrorists compose less than 1/100th of 1% of the worldwide Muslim population. So, why blame the other 99.99% for the actions of a few isolated fanatics.

If i remember correctly, McVeigh was considered a christian terrorist.
The IRA was considered a Catholic terrorist group.
The KKK is listed as a terrorist organization.
The reason the Islamic faith associated with terrorism is because the majority of terrorist attacks from Indonesia to Spain to Britain, to the US have been carried out be Muslim extremists. Of course 99% of Muslims are not terrorists. However it could be argued that 99% of terrorists are Muslim.

i agree with you. i beleive that its not completely fair that when muslims do sumfin wrong dey get called terrorists and when another religions do their not labled as one!!
