"DO YOU F,AGGOTS and DYKKES know that tommorrow is SUNDAY, A DAY TO GO TO CHURCH AND REPENT and TURN STRAIGHT?
All churches welcome hommos with open arms, when they are serious about turning away from f,aggotism and back to being normal and healthy. please no rude answers. a little civility goes a long way..thank you and may J,esus bless you "

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I found this article today about a former homophobic Christian who realized the error of his ways.

I like the part where he complains about how obsessed some Christians are about this issue. That's what I've been saying forever.

People can twist the beliefs of a mainstream religion into anything they want- its really easy!
You have probably heard of Islamic extremists, more popularly known as the posterchild for terrorism. Sadly, they are often what we think of when when we think of Islam, and as a result, we show our hatred to Muslims. Follow me so far?
Now Islam is not the only religion with extremists. Christianity has them, too. However, we do not call them this, and shy away from the fact that it has anything to do with Christianity. I wonder why...
As a result, we show our hatred to such religions and groups and classify and judge them until we are unconcious just because there are some idiots who manage to twist things to suit their own hatreds and make sure everybody knows about it.
No wonder there are so many athiests out there. When we "believers" act like this, you can hardly blame them.

I can't help but wonder how the questioner you mention excuses such behaviour. I bet they are either a pretender (slandering the Christian faith) or extremely ignorant, and using their "faith" to reinforce their own bigotry.

I'm really betting on the former! Jesus regularly spent time with "sinners", the kind most "church people" wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole! Scumbags and whores SOUGHT OUT Jesus, because He shared the Love of God. The "spiritual legal experts" spat them out, and Jesus as well!

Nobody who is even REMOTELY familiar with, and faithful to, Jesus' message, can speak like this to another human being!

Remember what Jesus said to the prostitute, thrown at His feet with a death sentence? "Neither do I condemn you. Go now, and leave your life of sin."

That guy should look it up!

The hatred here can be astounding. Homosexuals, jews, muslims, Wiccans, and, of course Atheists have all felt it.

While the quote you cite can be dismissed by more polite christians, they cannot deny that many churches (not all, the Episcopalians are a noted exception) feel that homosexuality is a sin and is a choice and can be "cured" by christianity. I prefer Butters from South Park who said "well if god made me, I figure he must be a little bi-curious himself."

Yeah, I just hate it when hateful people use forums like this to spew thair hatred.
Honestly, the person that posted that needs HELP, and she needs it QUICK!
I'm a Christian, maybe it will help if I pray for her...

I wonder what may have happened in her life to make her so hateful toward homosexuals? Did you ever vthink maybe she may have been molested by a lesbian aunt as a child or something?

Sounds like someones trying to get a rise out of you.It seemed to work.
Jesus said "A tree is known by it's fruit.A good tree cannot produce bad fruit".
Sounds like that person was a sour apple tree!
In other words,I can stand in the garage ....that doesn't make me a car.A person can proclaim Christianity,it doesn't make him a Christian.

civil very civil.Romans 1:26 it is a perversion and is detestable to God. His judgment and he passed it on Sodom ( which is where the word sodomized came from) and Gomorrah. Love the person hate the sin. Fear of destruction and affiliation of such sin. People should not be afraid because just before God destroyed the towns the few upright where spared as long as they didn't look back. Warnings to you and may peace find you.

Oh my, you have to be kidding!
So, you would take as fact the rambling of every person on the internet? If so, and if it is true that you believe everything you read, that is posted here, then by all means believe this,
You need to sell all your possesions and send the money to me. I mean, if you can sit here and honestly condemn billions of people based on the rantings of one, then you are a bigger chowderhead than the person you are griping about!\

HA HA HA!
LMAO!

I don't know of any religion that supports those ideas, and I really thought you had enough sense to know that not everything said in the name of "Christianity" is Christian.

If someone had declared those things in your name, would you feel obligated to take responsibility for them?

Have you ever heard of the wolf in sheep's clothing? Did it ever occur to you that the hatred and bigotry is not from real Christians?

Let me guess.... Dr. Doris, right? Dr. Doris does not represent Christianity. She is clearly filled with the demons of Satan. May God have mercy on her soul.
