Neutering a male dog involves removing his testicles. If you dog is neutered as a puppy, he may not have anything where the testicles were. If he was neutered as an adult, the vet may have left the "sack." In that case, you can check by feeling. The sack should be empty.

Um, look between his back legs, if you see testicles hanging down, not neutered. No testicles hanging, neutered.

If the testicles are missing and there is just an empty sac that could be a clue.

Well this will be really gross. But, if it's a boy...then he won't have any testicles. If it's a girl she'll have stitches across her "area". That's the way my dogs were when we got them fixed.

He won't have any balls! Or take him to the vet!

Well it depends if it's a male or female.
Male: It looks deflated where his balls used to be.
Female: You can see where the stitches used to be on her stomach.

A little nasty though.
