Impetigo- small red spots , progress to tiny blisters that eventually rupture,producing oozing,sticky,honeycolored crust. This rash spreads quickly with scratching.
Caused by Streptococcal bacteria(maybe strep throat)** my daughter had it
of greatest concern is a rare reaction to "strep" is kidney problem know as glomeruonephritis will cause the urine to turn a dark brown color and is often accompanied by headache and elevated blood pressure. Although this conditon has a formidable name it is short-lived and heals completely in most people.
Antibiotics won't prevent "G" but may help prevent the impetigo from spreading to other people. Good Luck!!
