Cobb salads usually consist of chopped lettuce, bacon, turkey, avocado and blue cheese dressing. There are variations, depending on how much you value your arteries. You can also consider an asian style salad using romaine, chow mein noodles or ramen, chopped chicken, bean sprouts, sliced green onions, and an oriental dressing they now have on the shelves. An easy salad to make is a Chef salad, which is chopped lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumber, olive slices, hard boiled egg quarters, tomato quarters, sliced american cheese, turkey and ham with ranch dressing. How about some soup? They have some great varieties out there that you could make at home and keep in a thermos. No thermos? Well, then there's always yogurt, crackers and cheese and fruit, tortilla rollups with turkey or roastbeef, cheese, lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatos, or healthy nachos with beans, cheese, and baked tortilla chips.

Go to Mcdonalds.com or Wendys.com and they have the ingredients listed on their website.

Instead fixing a sandwich for lunch how about a pita sandwich, wraps, fruit.
