I've heard that it's dentists. Air traffic controllers have a high amount of stress also. But according to this article, occupation doesn't seem to matter much:

There are statistics that will show what people want to see or prove or disprove. According to the American Psychology Association (APA), there is no one particular career that is more prone to suicide than another.... but on the lists I've seen usually police officers, dentists, prison guards are consistently on the top of the list...but I'd say actors and musicians have a fairly high rate, too, if you look at what the media shows...

I have heard that police officers have a very high suicide rate, and I think one of the reasons for that is the easy access to guns. Obviously, if you don't have access to a gun, you have to put more time and (less impulsive) effort into killing yourself so there's an opportunity to think twice. Like the previous answerer, I have also heard that Air Traffic Controllers are some of the most stressed-out people at their job... Don't know about the suicide rate, though.

Suicide is group murder when one receives insults from friends and family . The professional stresses are nothing like the stresses of a man who has no job. They have the highest suicide rate . The USA records on line show the white male is many times more at risk to die by his own hand than any other group of people . Please keep mental illness in it proper perspective . Many need help to keep life manageable.

I don't know a site to show statistics. However, I've been told dentists have the highest suicide rate.

"And in fact, points out Ronald Maris, PhD, director of the Center for the Study of Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior at the University of South Carolina, "Occupation is not a major predictor of suicide and it does not explain much about why the person commits suicide."
