I think I may have changed the views of a few people toward my religion. But my views have also been changed. Seeing the closed mindedness of some people has only made me more open minded. I have become a lot more appreciative of differences in belief and opinion. So there's actually some good in R&S :P

Oh I've definitely received an education, and as the info is coming from those with first-hand knowledge, it's been quite interesting and eye-opening.

My views towards the various religions really haven't changed because I've always been a pretty open and accepting person.

The surprise has been just how nasty people can become during a disagreement. I wasn't prepared for that at all. I must live in a bubble-I figured everyone was pretty much the same, I just don't run into these conflicts in my everyday life. Such is a part of small-town living I guess.

I hope everything is well with you and your family tonight.

It's interesting to read what others believe for me.

Unfortunately there is a lot of litter in the replies as some people just write mean spirited things. But if we weed through the nonsense, there are many good replies and I've learned a lot about others.

Interesting and educational,

Yes. I have learned a lot. I also understand things differently. I might have had knowledge about something, but then I just understood it in different level.
For example. I did not know that Muslims believe that Jesus is Messiah, but I knew that they do not believe Jesus is God. I always thought that who would believe that Jesus is Messiah, they also knew He is God.
And I did not know that there are spiritual Atheists.

I am ready to accept different views of others, but I am not willing to sacrifice my own eternal destiny with compromising on what I believe is the truth. I believe we all have free will. And since God respects our choices, I will respect it too within laws of men. : )

Yes, it has taught me so much about other beliefs that I had no knowledge of previously. Like wicca. I have seen the intelligence and wit of so many people. I have seen the ignorance and bigotry of others.

I am more open to all others except Christians. I will never trust any of them easily in real life. I can name on one hand the ones here that I respect.

You have been in my thoughts.

I'm more open, and have found many that relay think, out side the religion box.

as Ram Das said , it all Gris's for the mill, this forum grinds down the wheat and what is left is the truth.

Not really; but then most of the time I'm here, I'm telling people about what I believe. I'm Jewish, and lots of people have questions about Judaism, since it's a religion that does not seek converts (although it does accept them).

It hasn't changed my views, but because of the Islam-bashing, I feel more sympathetic towards Muslims. I learded more about Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam here.

None of the above, but one of my majors was International Studies in college, and I live in a highly diverse metropolis. I do think that if you have lived in a sheltered/non-diverse environment all of your life, that this message board could be an eye-opening experience though.

I been visiting all knds of religions and I still chose Athiest, because it's easier to not belieeve in anything than to choose. Then again, I hate church and wworshiping to nothingness.
