He called her every day for months and wrote her poems at lunch. He spend an hour making her a valentine card. He ignored other boys at play to hang out by the jungle gym with her. On the last day of school, he worried about finding the right clothes so that she would remember that he looked good and made sure that he brought her a purple rose because purple is her favorite color and roses her favorite flower, even if it took several stores to find one. He kissed her on the cheek, and walked out of kindergarten for the last time.
True story, it was my cousin, and he was over the moon for her. It may not be forever and ever love, and there was nothing physical about it for sure, but it was love. In fact, I know plenty of grown women looking for a guy to do all those things for her.
It might not be "average" age, but everyone is capable of loving if the moment and person is right.

I'll say about 15 16. I was really in love when I was 16 though. But anywhere after those ages I just gave.

well now a days kids think thier immediatley in love but uts false puppy love but real love dosnt strt to around 18 to 20 sometimes older
