You know your daughter best, of course. But I can tell you that I (hesitantly) took my 26 month old to the opening of Monsters Inc, and aside from standing up during parts of it, made it through the whole movie. No potty breaks, no tantrums, no whining, no running, no playing, etc. Just watched the movie.

Granted, it was a great movie, which helped. And I was honestly not expecting to get through the whole thing. But it apparently can be done at two, just depends on the movie and your child's temperament. :)

It depends on the child. The big screen can be frightening to a 3 year old, but as evidenced by several posters, an 18 month old can take it in stride. I can't see a 3-4 year old having an attention span that long, but hey, as I said, it depends on the kid!

I took my son to his first movie when he was about 18 months. We went to a matinee during the week (cheaper and fewer people to bother). Turns out everyone else there was a mom with her kids too, so no one was overly bothered by kids making noise or people getting up and leaving and coming back several times.

We took our 18 month old to see the Santa Claus and he loved it. He sat threw the whole thing. He however, is very easy going and loves to watch tv. We do limit his intake, to like ano hour a day, and its just clifford and part of sesame street. Good luck though!
Try to go during the day when not alot of people go, and come prepared with snacks and things for her. Worse comes to worse you only payed for the mattinee

Depends on the child. If she can sit and somewhat comprehend whats going on it cool. I'm sure she'll love it no matter what really. there are some really good cartoons out everyday month these days.
