I am in 8th grade, and only 5 feet tall. I am constantly made fun of by friends and peers. I'm usually ok with it. But, recently my mom began nagging, saying, "Look. Even I'm taller than you! Each generation needs to be taller than the one before it. But even your grandma is taller than you! Why can't you grow more?" I am sick of it!
By the way, I was really tall (compared to classmates) until 5th grade, when I suddenly just stopped growing so fast.
help? please!

You'll start growing again, don't worry about it. When I say "don't worry", I mean it. If you worry, your body will not grow as fast as you'd like it to grow.
If you won't grow too much, from now on, never mind: Napoleon was not that tall, but what an emperor he was!

Trust me, i feel your pain. I'm one of the shortest in my grade, i always got teased but now, i just laugh it off. But hey, your mom is ment to be taller than you! I wouldnt worry about that, soon you'll have another growth spurt like you did in 5th grade. I once wanted to take these pills and they make your hormoes produce faster or sumtin and it makes u taller and all. But soon i figured its really not healthy for you, and it can be dangerous. Let it go naturally hun, and so what, 5 feet is not thaaat short for a 8th grader, everyone has there time to grow, right? Eveyone tells me that, and it never helpes cuz like, HELLO! when is my time to grow! So all i gotta say is yes there is a proof but its better not 2 use it! Good Luck hun!

Your not done growing, you have a lot of growing to get done. A lot of the guys in my class weren't that tall when we graduated, but I've seen some of them a couple years later and they are a whole lot taller. I'd say you'll grow the most around 18-20 years old. Just be patient, there are no fool proof ways to get taller.

Some of science's immutable laws were superceded by means of different laws for the reason that our horizons are constantly increasing the quantity we know concerning the universe is consistently growing so of path the legal guidelines governing what we know will change as there may be more information to jot down legal guidelines about. Just due to the fact the best reply is just not excellent doesn't change the actual fact that it is the high-quality answer still - Science will constantly be essentially the most purpose photo as it's absolutely amoral totally without perceived price judgements.

Once you've stopped growing, there's no physical way to grow taller. You probably haven't stopped growing, and will go through a growth spurt soon. It's okay if you're a little shorter than your mom too. Don't worry about it.

You cannot make yourself grow taller. You can wear shoes with a little bit of heel to make yourself appear taller.

Don't let others comments make you feel bad about your height. Tell them that their comments are bothering you, hurting your feelings. You should be proud of who you are, after all you cannot change it.

I am tall for a girl and I kind of wish I was shorter, because to me, short people are cute. To me, I was never cute. I am now just over 5'8". It is hard to find longer pants, and when I do, the dryer often shrinks them to make me wear high water pants.

Everyone will find flaws in themselves and wish for their bodies to be a bit different. You should always embrace who you are as you will have to live with it the rest of your life. It is not something you can change. Ask you mother to not say those things as they hurt you deeper than she imagined. Your friends will understand if you tell them as they are your friends.

I don't see why you care so much. Guys usually perfer the short girls. Why worry? Just be glad you're not 6'2". Your mother is probably jealous. Women are so aweful towards eachother.

You may continue to grow but you may not. Genetics play the only part in your height. Nothing else can be done. You are what you are, learn to love yourself.

Human growth has no pattern. You grow in spurts.

You mother isn't being very sensitive. You really can't tell her to -------, but you can think it.
Relax, and nature won't forget you.
