Many Christians and people of other faiths feel that the after life is so much better than this life that death isn't the great sorrow people have made it to be. It was Augustine and Dante that made some Christians abhor death. The Celtic men used to believe the wouldn't go to heaven unless they died in battle. Many societies felt the same way. That they must die in glory on the battle field so they would go around and pick fights over practically nothing. Wasn't that courageous? Leaving the women and children to shift for themselves. Do you think the world will ever grow up and value what we have here on earth? I have read that after death we are still going to be in the some emotionally, confused state we were in life. So isn't time we took life a little more seriously? Aren't we supposed to be a civilized society. GROW UP PEOPLE all over the world. Let's talk things out.

Think about this for a minute. What are you saying? That life is not precious, or that Republicans and Christians don't really care about the fact that it is?

True Christians don't support ANY wars. Instead, they support love for fellowman. At John 13:34, 35, Jesus said: “I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”

"However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those persecuting you." Matt. 5:44

There are many Christians who are not a part of any politcal party.

However, remember that the neo-cons (not, Christians) used the religiously perceived ideas to push their own agendas

One is a sacrifice to save lives and is done bravely and willingly and is often not even appreciated.

The other is a human sacrifice that is practiced in selfishness and cowardice and is forced on an unsuspecting innocent human being.
