What types of road kill should I avoid feeding my dog?

Absolutely NOT! don't let your dog eat any road kill, even if it's fresh. You don't know if the animal was sick or even contaminated with some poison or pesticide. Besides, meat that hasn't been cooked is full of bacteria and other stuff that could harm your dog. If you let your dog eat something like that he could get everything - from cramps and diarrhea to some serous poisoning. So do him a favor, don't let him eat it. Just stick to good old dry food, cans and something from your fridge!

Don't feed your dog any road kill. When an animal is killed in that manner, their is a good chance of the meat becoming contaminated, with either urine or feces, of the dead animal. Any dog eating it, would be come sick.

well I wouldn't I have a little chihuahua that is very very picky with what she eats. she would just take one sniff of it and then she would stick her nose up in the air and walk off. plus road kill is grose to begin with. I think that it would be more safer and better for your dog to eat it's own dogfood or meat from a store. don't you think?

All types should be avoided, sorry to disappoint you. Feeding your dog any type of roadkill can lead to countless possibilities of illness & diseases.

well, if you cook the food its better but that really isn't very healthy for a dog. I wouldn't suggest it.

Don't give your dog any roadkill, you don't know if the animal was sick or had rabies. Anyway it is just plain disgusting and inhumane.
