Yes, I have personally been on the Atkins diet and did experience success with it. But the diet is too strict. There are so many things that you need to cut out of your diet. I got bored of eating the same things over, and over, and over again. Of course they have their own special food you can buy. But for the average person, it is too expensive. And a lot of their stuff just tastes weird. There are many studies that have been done that prove that the Atkins diet is actually harmfull. People that had been on the Atkins diet for a while tended to have higher than normal chloesterol levels due to all the meat that they were consuming. You also need to ask your doctor if this is a good idea. You might have pre-exisiting health conditions that might make this unsafe for you to do. Good luck.

Yep. You have to follow it very strictly for the first 3 weeks. No cheating. I lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks.
New studies have shown that it is the most effective way to 'kick start' weight loss---it was all over Yahoo news a couple days ago.
If you don't follow the initial phase properly, though, you won't lose much weight.

in case you prefer to do a lo-carb weight loss software, do no longer do Atkins! it fairly is far too extreme in fat and too low in fiber. in case you will bypass the low carb direction then attempt the South sea coast weight loss software. this remains a extreme protein weight loss software yet a minimum of you get fiber. If I have been you i could change to a vegetarian weight loss software.
