Yes it does. Use your right hand so people facing you see the 'L' shape of your hand. If you use your left hand it will look like a backwards 'L' and the joke will indeed be on you!

Well if you want it facing them, then use your right hand otherwise it'll be pointing at you and therefore you calling yourself a loser. And if you had to ask then i guess it would serve you right to use your left lol L-)
