Well you need protein, there is no way around that. You have to mix nuts with other stuff to get a complete protein or something like that, but I'm sure your already doing that. You have to work out, go to a weight room. If you want bigger muscles, train with less reps and more weight.

Hey, I know a FABLUOUS way and I know this sounds a bit weird but it's true. Eat Tuna Fish and begin a workout, I ate tuna fish ever since I was 5 yrs old and I actually had muscles. By the 7th grade I had vainy arms and a 6pac!!!!! I was only 13 and 5'0, it's kinda crazy and very weird, everyone thought I took steroids or something, I'm very positive that you eat tuna fish, begin a daily workout and also play a sport, sports actually work the best. Try either Volleyball for your upper body stregnth and legs. Baseball for legs and arms. Basketball for legs. ***Gymnastics/Karate for everything*** thats what I do, Karate is really great. Handball for arms and legs. Tennis for legs and upper body. See, sports can really help and I should know, I'm still in High School and I like Science, I was taught this so please take my advice.

As far as the nutritional side, as a vegetarian, you'll have to supplement amino acids and take protein supplements - one that doesn't have choloresterol. You can search the web and find a few. Eating enough protein when you don't eat animal protein is tough, but far from impossible.

On the exercise side, there are plenty of books, etc. on body building. I would recommend (highly) Arnold S.'s (the gov. of California) book - "the encyclopedia of body building". It has beginner, intermediate and advanced routines, and they are accurate, and if followed, they work!

Foods like cheese stand out as among the most fat-laden, with a great number of calories coming from fat. But as important as it is to select the healthiest foods, it is also important to consider how they are prepared.

Fiber makes us feel full sooner and stays in our stomach longer than other substances we eat, slowing down our rate of digestion and keeping us feeling full longer. Due to its greater fiber content, a single serving of whole grain bread can be more filling than two servings of white bread. Fiber also moves fat through our digestive system faster so that less of it is absorbed.

when you work out strenuously.for bigger muscles you stimulate the cells to split and grow more muscle cells those cells need nutrients to grow,so you must have protein in your blood for the red cells to be able to feed those cells properly ,so make sure you have proteins and proper food in your blood, maybe some protein powder put in some fruits juice to drink.find out what foods you will eat ,that have protein in them,
