Me and Michael met last yr thru a store he now manages and I shopped in & b4 he came along. And overtime we became close mates. We share our things with each other like CDs,books,opinions etc.
When I noticed my feelings were changing into something more I started to avoid him alot but that didnt work cause Id always meet up with him everywhere else. EEK! So I tried plan B which was to move onto other guys and even tried forcing myself onto other guys but that didnt work at all!!! And now Ive given up and we're alot closer in our friendship now. Cause alot has happened these passed few days & it just brought us alot closer.
Hes 28 and Im 21 soon eek!!!
Why couldnt I get over him?????

Dont get me wrong I do care abot him ALOT. I have feelings 4 him beyond anything in this world. Its funny cause sometimes we finish each others sentences and we even knw what each others about 2 say b4 we say it. Thats how close we are. We are very open with each other. Hes incredible, hes caring and sweet 2 some he may come off as an idiot but thats just part of his barrier he puts up, really if you get 2 knw him hes really sweet and funny and great. I love him he turns my world upside down, I see the world differently when Im with him. He puts that extra shine and glitter in the stars, the beauty in the world & yeah
We are both single, have been 4 awhile eek!
But why????????? Is fate trying to tell me something?

I think the real question is why are you avoiding him if you love him? If you feel that strongly about him, then maybe you guys should try being in a relationship. At least talk to him about how you feel. But know that if you do go out, and it doesn't work out, it will be hard to re-establish that friendship. But if you're always going to wonder what would've happened, tell him how you feel and stop avoiding him!

Well either he's hypnotised you and said "You will now become my #1 fan" or your in love. Is it real love or just a really really strong infatuation is what you should be asking. Honestly why are you asking us this question?
The answer is obvious. Ask him out.
That way either you'll find that you really do love him, or after a few weeks you'll decide he wasn't all you thought he was. Of course in practice it's not that simple, but if you don't take the first step (since he obviously hasn't) he might move or find someone else and then you'll regret it. A lot. Go for it girl :).

If I was in your situation, I would be kinda afraid to ruine such a great friendship that you both have, by telling him you like him more than a friend. However I know what you mean, you cant stop thinking about him that way and its driving you nuts! I would test him. lets say your out having lunch and you see this cute guy, comment to him that you think he is hot and watch if your friend gets jelouse. Also flirt with guys in front of him. It sounds like you both are meant to be together. How does he feel about it? Have you discussed how you feel with him? Maybe you should if you have not. It sounds like you should be together as life partners, soul mates, as far as what you have said. It is scary, I know.
Why not sit down with him and talk with him. It can't hurt anything. You sound like you are already good friends. Why not try the next step? That is my dream, to marry my best male friend. I wouldn't want my husband not to be my best friend.
