Yes but most of all "belief". If they stuck to the facts without using their emotions, then maybe we may get along more.
The language factor is as simple as giving a message that goes thru 5 people. By the time it gets back to u, it's completely different. The English translation is a completely different book to its original Hebrew.
As far as i'm concerned it's all plagierism from the Egiptians & Sumerians.

O, ABSOLUTELY!
Even regarding Islam, Judaism & Christianity AT their BEGINNINGS. Most people do not know the times, and view the beliefs of these monotheistic religions thru "current~time" understandings. Not knowing the customs and culture can really DRASTICALLY change a person's view and primarily their UNDERSTANDING.....That is a great Q! and Im giving you a star....I wish I had the time right now to expound and give proper examples.
God Bless You!
You made a great point by just posting that question!~

I think partly because we are a result of our surroundings and what we have been taught through our culture, but God is counter-culture and the more we follow Him the more He will show us that His ways are not our ways. But if you look solely at religion (in itself minus God being there, religion as a tradition and duty) then of course the way the Eastern mind thinks cannot possibly accept the way a Westerner thinks, but that is why we must get out of our culture box and try and see humankind as something more than repeated tradition. We are all seeking something, and that something is a relationship with God.

No. It has to do with lack of people obtaining knowledge about them, and the media misinforming the masses.
