new car back. you see the dealer did a sit un seen trade of my old car. and when we i was at the dealer i kept telling them i could go and get my old car so they can see it. the dealer kept telling me no no we do this all the time. know there trying to tell me i owe them more money and that my contract is void. so is it

is the paperwork sighned, you took posession of nu car? then they said it wont pass inspect? to bad, its there problem. 99% of used car deals are as-is.......i never sold a used car with a warr.

I can't say I've ever heard of a car dealer giving you an offer for a trade-in without ever seeing it.
this is some kind of bait and switch deal. Read your contract and see if there is a clause that says the value of the trade-in is dependent on their inspection. If it doesn't, then it's their tough luck, they bought your car sight unseen and they bought it AS IS. You are probably a young guy and they are trying to take advantage of you.
You shouldn't owe them any more money, if they change the contract then the contract is void, so you can get your old car back and any money you are out.

Get a lawyer, if they ball hard ball with you. They are trying to intimidate you into paying more money. Get 'em good on this one. File a complaint with the BBB also.

I would call an attorney but if the contract was signed and there is nothing in it that say if your car does not pass inspection then I would believe it is there vault for not looking at the car first.
