Let me see if I can explain it to you this way....
You know a building in the neighborhood has been condemned, and is due to be "taken down" on Thursday.
Thursday morning, on your way to work, you notice a busload of grade schoolers being taken into the building. You aren't sure what is going on, but you KNOW the demolitions people are gonna be here soon.
What do you do?
Do you try to warn these people?
Do you try to get help in getting them out of there?
You can't stop the building from being blown up...the men hired to do it have soundproof helmets on that prevent them from hearing your cries.
That's the way Andrew feels about hell. He sees it as the most serious thing that could happen to you, and, out of love, he wants everyone to know this.
OK, now, my own opinion is that what will actually happen to you is that you willl be tossed into a burning pit, where you will become a rapidly disappearing grease spot. Everlasting life is a gift. If we already had everlasting life, but it was just a matter of where we got to spend it, it wouldn't be a gift, would it? I mean, why buy me a second car, if it's just a matter of whether I get to park the one I have in the garage or in the junk yard.
No, dear, you WILL surely die. Don't you believe that ol' serpent.
And that's MY warning. Get out of the building, the demolitions squad is on the way!!

Hmm, well I don't believe in hell. In Judaism, there is no concept of hell, or rewards after life on earth, in fact there is no life after death- but a life after life. There is a period where the soul is cleansed and it is supposed to be very painful (I suppose this is like a hell or purgatory) when there is a pure soul, it goes to paradise...but this is for ALL people whether Jewish or non-Jewish.
In other words, Judaism doesn't seek to convert people because we all have the pretty same after-life, (Gentiles and Jews -ALL people in the world- are equal and as such all have an equal share in the world to come) plus it is better to try live life in a good way than to think too much over death, after all, G-d has given us the choice to choose Life or Death, by choosing life, we take the first right steps.
(I hope I make sence)
:) Have a blessed day!

It is surly not something I want to talk about ( hell)...but the truth is,,it is real....I don't want to see noone go there much less me....When I speak about it,it is because me speaking about other things led to it...In no way would I jump up and say oh you are going to hell,,I don't have the right to say that...I don't even know what holds for me tomorrow much less what it holds for you..Only God knows that...I can have compassion on people I never seen and desire to let them know what I know to be true....
To add to the answer above...What would I gain to scare people about hell,,really lets think about this...Would I get some great brownie points,,no..I don't tell people about hell to gain anything but happiness for them..Does that make me bad cause I want you to excel in your life...I would hope not...

I have been condemned to Hell so many times I have stopped counting. Still somehow I just can't understand the seriousness of Hell. I think most Christians are so tightly locked inside their cocoon of ignorance thinking about their fairy La La Land of Eternity they don't think much of the seriousness of Hell themselves.

Do you under stand that everyone on earth is a sinner and the punishment for sin is to be sent to hell for eternal suffering and punishment in a lake of fire ? Romans 3"23 " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ". Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord ".There is a way out of it ...it is a free gift of eternal life in heaven , only if you accept Jesus as your Savior .Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead , thou shalt be saved ".Romans 10 :13 " For whosoever ( your name ) shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved". Romans 10:17 "Faith commeth by hearing , hearing the word of God ".

yes i am sure that most Christians believe that Hell is serious,
however it is not anyone else's business to tell you that you are going to Hell.
God loves you and wants to have honest communication with you, and when and if you are ready then it is Up to Him to make himself known to you.
when baby Christians get too enthusiastic, just remember, that they are just children.

If he really believed it, he wouldn't spend time around non-believers. He's going to Hell.
