if charles darwin didn't come up with the theory of evolution, some other scientist was bound to find out the same thing. there are many scientists out there studying evolution, so we are going to learn that we are the relatives of apes sooner or later.

The formulation of a theory, or lack of formulation of a theory, does not change the facts of the universe.
Even without the theory of natural selection, we'd have still been related as evolutionary cousins to the rest of the primates, whether we knew it or not.

Darwin only published when he realized other scientists had already pretty much worked it out and decided to be first to publish.
Who we are related to is independent of the discoverer. Just as whether or not gravity exists is independent of the fact Newton said it did.

Darwin was not the first, and he was not the last , of a line of scientific thought that would inevitably have lead to Evolutionary theory. It was destined to happen, thinking produces truth - eventually .

If Charles Darwin had become a house painter, all of evolution would still be true. Darwin merely published the theory, he didn't invent evolution.

I don't see how we are related to apes, since we share the same percentage of DNA with mice as we do apes. We are simular because we have to live in the same biosphere.
