I think its great that the public are finally being educated with more programmes on mediumship and spiritualism.christianity is on the decline and more people are turning towards faiths.Though most spiritualists are also christians, its reassuring for people to know that there is a life after this one.

I hate to see spiritualism being connected with programmes such as most haunted etc
spiritualism is about spirit communication and love
not ghosts and things that go bump in the night
very different things
and spiritualism has been around in the present form since 1848

Spiritualism is about the communion of saints and a lot of people believe in it . During the last was Air Chief Marshall Dowling was a great believer, and Winston Churchill as well look through the Internet and find the great names who were spiritualists.

Spiritualism isn't new. It was invented in the 1800's by the fox sisters.
It was far more popular in Victorian times than it is now, because now we know it's nonsense.
