To me, it sounds like a kidney infection from the way you discribed where the pain is. Drink plenty of water (lots of it) , cranberry juice too.. I had to drink gallons of that but I had both bladder and kidney infections at the same time. That really was bad.
Good luck to ya, and I do hope your pain goes away. You may need to go back to your doc, and get more antibiotics.

Does the pain radiate down your right leg? Any urinary incontinence or numbness of the feet? At first it sounds like cord compression in the lumbar spine region, but if ice packs are helping, it could just be a muscular/tissue problem. You really should be seeing a doctor about this, if your pain is as bad as you describe it to be. What do you remember doing before the pain started that may have caused it?

It could be caused from the bladder infection, but it may be something more serious. What you need to do is get a professional Massage. If you have a Massage Envy near you I recommend them if not then find some one else. My spouse is a Massage Therapist and if it were not for her I would not be able to walk! Please see your Doctor as well as there are very few people on here who know what they are talking about......we can only give our opinions. God Bless you Sweetie and I hope you feel better soon!

No one should give you medical advice except a doctor.
But.... use ICE, not heat. I've had three back surgeries and each time they check to make sure its not your Kidneys. Tylenol is bad for Kidneys. Go to a doctor or hospital right away. Seek medical treatment. Good luck.

IT SEEMS TO BE A NERVE PROBLEM.
There is hardly any medicine to treat it.
Acupuncture is the only treatment available. Pl approach a skilled acupuncturist otherwise think visiting us. Ice packs can create problems related to cough.
