How would it not be good for you? Of course it's good for you. It build muscle, cardiovascular endurance and it burns unhealthy fat. The only negatives I can think of would be possible injuries or over-doing it.

i think running or jogging regularly is very good for you. if your a guy you will get a nice body and if your a girl it will keep those pounds off. i run every day for an hour and a half.and every day i loose at least two pounds

Sure - its cardio exercise, and cardio helps you burn calories. Not only is it good for weight loss/weight control, its good to keep the heart, lungs and muscles all in top condition.
